Fireball XL5 were a rockabilly band in the early 1980s. Disbanded by mid 1983, XL5 had three record releases - Rockin' Shoes (EP), Man With No Name (45) and Go For It! (33). They were Part of the Norwich music scene during the early 1980s, Fireball XL5 established a loyal but slightly crazy group of followers. The Band members were Mark Kelf (vocals), Jonny Bridgwood (bass) followed by Gavin Peake, Mark Thorne (guitar) followed by Robin Johnson, Neil 'Mustard' Samuel (guitar) and Ian Cooper (drums) with a couple of gigs replaced by Vince Harrison and one by Progles!
