Smell Of Kat was created in the mid 90s by Javier Caballero (voice), Javier Uroz (guiatarra), Cliff (drums) and David Mourelo (slap bass) .
In 1997 the band released his first record , "Raw Beat" by the label Vampirella Records. With 4 songs very energetic, it was a perfect card to show that the band was here to Rock, flirting a lot with the sound made in the late 80. The following year, after attending the 11th Big Rumble, the band released their first full album and, unfortunately the last one also via Vampirella Records, this time with 14 songs, was a highly praised album, good from beginning to end, with highlights like the songs "Lies", "Rockin 'In The Graveyard", "Midnight Chase" between others.Smell of Kat make a good old school psychobilly , with an infectious bass and vocals and extremely accurate battery. In this rehearsal tape they play some Neo Rockabilly covers and some originals. I really like the first cover song from the band Lota Red (Bad Surprise).Enjoy!
