Hailing from the ancient city of Padova in Northern Italy, the Green Moon Sparks take a welcome stance: first and foremost, psychobilly should be fun. The self-mocking slogan 'stronzo band' amplifies this cheerful approach. Yet make no bones about their knack for spawning a wide range of rockin' goods. From hillbilly origins to early punk and beyond, this foursome taps into decades of subterranean splendor. Meanwhile their psycho brew is flavor-enhanced by Toy Dolls tomfoolery plus Surf Rats and Scum Rats strut.

The Switchblades - Wild Psychobilly
The Switchblades from Australia create a sound that is aggressive, dangerous, and altogether unique by fusing multiple potent musical styles, from psychobilly to punk to heavy metal and blues. Lyrically influenced by Lemmy from Motorhead, combined with a Poe like inner psychosis; their nefarious lyrics have already led to promoter requests to tone down their performances. But as Harry Crewes said ‘what the artist owes the world is his work; not a model for living.’
The band is an eclectic mix of talented musicians. Jarran Zen, the enigmatic singer, also plays double bass. The lead guitarist, Nic, is a modern day moody blues man with a heavy metal edge. Their drummer, Tanya, provides a punk cadence to the finished songs that is completely in sync with the band’s musical style.
Jarran Zen lives music 24/7 and as a result is a prolific songwriter, but the strength behind the band’s music comes from the fractious relationship between Nic the guitarist and Jarran Zen. Their writing partnership is one of two opinionated individuals who clash on many issues but can compromise on producing music. But, rather than reviving musical genres that have been dead for fifty years, they want to challenge the status quo of the music scene with an innovative style.
