Band formed in Navarra Spain by Carlos Alfonso Lopez (drums, percussion and manager), Iñaki Font (voice), Alvaro Cuartero (bass), Francisco Aguilera (guitar), Jorge Pascual (organ and guitar) and Kike Arizaleta (lead and backing vocals).
Department B was born in 1987 has a instrumental trio dedicated to Psychobilly. Later they became a quintet and start recordings demos and participating in several compilations.
In 1991 they recorded a 4 songs E.P., following that they recorded a song for the German Psychobilly label "Jungle Noise", but after all this success they were dissolved for lack of time.
They also participated in the soundtracks for the movies "Garbage World" and "More Carnaza" and play at horror film festivals, which will make them the only Spanish group involved in Psychobilly gore and horror films. In 1995,the band combined and edited the compilation "Memories of a Psychotic Band ..." distributed in Spain by Slap Disco Club and Billy; and internationally for "Mental Disorder Records" and "Raucous Records". The band got again a great success, and they decide to stage a comeback. But unfortunately for the psychobilly world the problem of lack of time reappears and the band end up dissolving.
After that the drummer start a new psychobilly band: Iberia Trash, but that's another story ...
