Rockin Bones ‎– Welcome To The Forbidden Planet (1992)

The quartet from the French city of Toulouse started in 1988 and takes the wave of new psychobilly French bands in the  "late 80s / early 90s," such as Banane Metalik, Happy Drivers, Astro Zombies, Celtix, Elektraws, among others. Making a more classic sound, with clean guitars and fast accurate slapbass, the band was formed by Arnaud (voice), Jean Phillip "Spectrex" (guitar), Fabien Eskimo (bass) and Patrice (Drums) .All lyrics and the band's songs are written by the guitarist and frontman Jean Phillip. They did several shows in France, playing with great bands like Batmobile, Meteors, Happy Drivers, Guana Batz. The band released this LP in 1992 by the label KIX4U (the only album unfortunately...there's a demo tape also and if anyone out there has it share plz), with most of the songs sung in French, the others in English and even a fun and interesting French version of "Pickle & Preserved" from Demented Are Go. The band ended the same year, without a proper explanation. The album was re-released on CD by the label Rockhouse in 1994.
