Rockabilly Fever have stormed onto the rockabilly circuit recently. Formed in early 2006, it’s amazing what the quartet have achieved in such a short time, receiving rave reviews wherever they play. Members, John Mayhew - Vocals, Stewart Southern - Lead Guitar, Kim Southern - Double Bass and Andy Williams on Drums play authentic 1950's style rockabilly, rock n roll and all share a keen interest in music.
After a chance meeting at a local jam night in early 2006, Kim, Stewart and John started jamming together in their spare time. A few months later they found drummer Andy and began gigging, playing their first gig at the Egerton Arms in november 2006. Since then they have been playing their way around the northwest pub and club circuit, developing their sound and gathering fans along the way. Their website has seen a steady interest too, so with new material and an album in the pipeline, the future should see great things from Rockabilly Fever...
