The group emerged in November 1985 in the city of Porto Portugal. They started by calling the band A Moral dos Idiotas (The Moral of the Idiots) but quickly changed their name to Os Cães, A Morte e O Desejo (The Dogs, Death and Desire). The first lineup included Carlos Moura (voice), Guilherme Lucas (rhythm guitar), Victor Guedes (lead guitar), Pedro Duarte (bass) and Pi (drums). Later with Calheiros on drums they recorded in December of that year, the theme "Elvis - Swing in a summer night" for the double compilation "Divergence".
The group was part of the movement Rockabilly / Psychobilly. Calheiros and Pedro Duarte leave the group and Carlos Moura goes to the drums and they replace the vocalist and Rodrigo join them. The first band concerts are held in Porto, on 12 of July and 2 August 1986 In September of that year they changed its name to Cães Vadios (Stray Dogs). In early 1987, the Ama Romanta released this single, produced by Nuno Rebelo, with the tracks "Stray Dogs", "Drunk" and "Martian". In 1991 the band changed is sound to punk and hardcore...The group came to record an album but then they decided not to edit it...
